Call for Papers


Prospective authors should submit a synopsis, not more than 500 words in English, using the colloquium template. The synopsis should match the preferential subjects addressed in the paper and should include: Title, Authors’ names, Affiliation(s), post and e-mail addresses before the text. The text of the synopsis should make it clear which of the preferential subjects it addresses, the main points of the paper and its innovative contribution as well as the inclusion of practical results

Submission should be made before May 17th, 2021 and acceptance of synopsis will be acknowledged before July 1st 2021 .Authors whose synopsis are selected, will be requested to provide a typescript of up to 8 pages in length of A4 papers, following the instruction for the full paper on the web site.

Registrations

Participants of the SC A2 & SC B3 Joint Colloquium “Challenges for Further Digital T&D Substations and Reliable Equipment in the Future”are requested to register to CMDM 2021. The general program for the Colloquium and Tutorials will be issued in June 2021, including information on the program, accommodation, etc.

Notes for authors’ registration

The Conference Technical Committee emphasizes that CIGRE Study Committee A2 is a participatory conference and an author must present the paper at the Conference.

The paper manuscript must follow the format outlined in the paper format instructions (please see above).

If the final paper or the copyright form (as per provided models) is missing, the submission will be cancelled.

In order to ensure that your paper will be published in the proceeding of the conference, the registration fee of the author and the paper publishing tariff must be paid before August 9th, 2021 (please see section Registration). Failure to pay the publication deposit can result in your paper not being published in the conference proceedings, both electronic and print.

Registration is complete after registration fee payment.
If a visa is required for entry into Romania, please allow sufficient time for the application (minimum 3 months in advance from the conference date). A letter of invitation will be provided upon request.
